The Festival of Arts’ signature event, the G & S Engineering Wine and Food Day, will return again to the fabulous venue of Queens Park. Sample an array of delicious titbits or carefully select your lunch meal from the gourmet or classic options on offer. Wines to suit all tastes and wallets will, of course, be for sale. Weave your way through the vibrant atmosphere of this multi-arts market and watch local artists hard at work. The Artist Village is a popular highlight of the G & S Engineering Wine and Food Day and is a great way for the public to engage with artists and learn about a variety of art forms such as woodturning, pottery, jewellery making, caricatures and more.

This year combines culinary and wine appreciation into one fantastic event. Adinfern Estate from Margaret River, WA, will match their wines with the best local produce that will be cooked by four of Mackay’s top chefs. Soak up their words of wisdom, witness some tricks of the trade and be inspired by these talented chefs who will fry, grill and flambé right before your very eyes.
