The Mackay Regi on Guerrilla Knitting Project is proudly presented by Artspace Mackay in conjunction with the festival. Guerrilla Knitting is a worldwide graffiti or street-art movement where knitters ‘tag’ the city with installations of colourful knitted or crocheted wool. Drop in to Mackay Town Hall throughout the festival and join in the fun with social knitting and crocheting gatherings, workshops for beginners and take part in a huge community knitting installation at Mackay Town Hall.
