This fabulous world-music concert, supported by Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, will come alive with a traditional welcome by the Yuibera elders and the award-winning aboriginal dance group, Bundjalong Kunjiel, who will offer free workshops in dance later in the day. This concert, hosted by ABC Tropi cal North, will be a family friendly affair starting at 12 noon and finishing at 5pm at Grasstree Beach. Come on down and dance to the music of the Solomon Island Bamboo Band, the driving African beats of Afrodisa, the sweet harmonies of the Fiji Choir, the Irish pluck of Mna and the charm of Friends of Pedro. Other highlights will include muliti instrumentalist Stephen Rosenberg, the humorous antics of Hey Amigos and drumming workshops by Afrodisa. FREE ENTRY |
